Learning and Teaching Methods
Contents will be taught in lecture that is held weekly.
In the problems classes students may first work by themselves or in small groups on problems. The solutions to the problems will then be discussed together.
Media
The lecture notes and problem sheets will be made available under http://av.ph.tum.de
Practical experiments during the lecture help illustrating physical phenomena.

Module Exam
Description of exams and course work
The learning outcome is tested in a written exam of 90 minutes. Participation in tutorials is strongly recommended.
There will be a bonus (one intermediate stepping of "0,3" to the better grade) on passed module exams (4,3 is not upgraded to 4,0). The bonus is applicable to the exam period directly following the lecture period (not to the exam repetition) and subject to the condition that the student presented at least one exercise part in the tutorials.
Current exam dates
Currently TUMonline lists the following exam dates. In addition to the general information above please refer to the current information given during the course.
