Introduction to teaching Astrophysics in schools.

This module prepares future teachers for teaching the  "Lehrplanalternative Astrophysik" in Bavarian high schools. The choice  of topics is based on the current Bavarian curriculum for high schools.  In the course each topich will be discussed keeping in mind three aspects:  what needs to be thought in high-school? What is the  current state of research? How can one bring this to the class room in  high schools? Please have a look at Chapter 0 on the Moodle page of the  module for details.

Learning Outcome

Basic knowledge of Astrophysics. Some insights into the didactics of Astrophysics.

Preconditions

None, except very basic math skills (logarithm, exponential)
