Seminar talks by students on fundamental methods of design and construction of a Particle Detector

Learning Outcome

After successful participation in the module the student can
use the basic methods of literature retrieval, condense their knowlegde from scientific papers into a presentation and obtain presentation skills.
They have learned about different aspects of design and construction od a particle detector.

Learning and Teaching Methods

The learning outcomes of this module will be developed through the literature search, the study of literature, the preparation of the presentation, the discussion with the teacher, the talk itself and answering questions about it.

Module Exam

Description of exams and course work

In the course of the seminar each student individually prepares a talk on a topic of current research. Based on this talk the learning outcome is tested.
