Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions

Content

The seminar is intended for students who have heard the lecture to the theoretical quantum mechanics under Professor Friedrich in the summer and might be interested in other issues of fundamental quantum mechanics.

Learning Outcome

After successful participation in the module the student can
use the basic methods of literature retrieval, condense their knowlegde from scientific papers into a presentation and obtain presentation skills.
They have learned about special aspects of quantum mechanics.

The learning outcomes of this module will be developed through the literature search, the study of literature, the preparation of the presentation, the discussion with the teacher, the talk itself and answering questions about it.

In the course of the seminar each student individually prepares a talk on a topic of current research. Based on this talk the learning outcome is tested.
