Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions
Seminar talks by students on current topics in nuclear- and particle physics
After successful participation in the module the student can
use the basic methods of literature retrieval, condense their knowlegde from scientific papers into a presentation and obtain presentation skills.
They have learned about relevant topics of research in the field of nuclear- and particle physics.
The student will have improved his/her communication and presentation skills. Basic concepts of presentation techniques will be known.
The students will have learned the basic analysis tools for oral presentations.

Preparation and presentation of a scientific talk, beamer presentation, board work, advisor discussion, literature studies, videoanalysis.

Specialized literature to the individual topics of the seminar talks will be provided;
own literature search.
Description of exams and course work
In the course of the seminar each student individually prepares a talk on a topic of current research. Based on this talk the learning outcome is tested.
