Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions

The series gives an overview of scientific areas covered at the Physics Department. Henceforth it substantiates the choice for an area of concentration upcoming in the the Bachelor’s program Physics. Every week one or two research groups of Physics Department or a partner institution presents itself. Possible research topics for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. Theses are discussed.

Learning Outcome

After successful participation in the module the students have an overview of current research topics at the Physics Department. Henceforth they can take an informed choice of area of concentration in the Bachelor’s program Physics. Furthermore they proved in practice that they are able to us the exam administration system from a student’s point of view.

Competencies from the Physics modules of the first three semesters in the Bachelor’s program Physics are expected.
