Content, Learning Outcome and Preconditions
Content
The courses cover different topics, e.g.: teamwork, success and disturbing factors in a team, preparing a presentation, choosing the best media for a presentation, non-verbal communication in a presentation, feedback rules, concepts of time management;
Learning Outcome
The students know the characteristics of a team and how teams can successfully work together. They have experienced team work by working on a problem-solving task. They know the art of a convincing presentation. The students have learned how to prepare a presentation. The know the pros and cons of different presentation media. As a result of having received feedback on their presentations, the students are aware of their strenghts and weaknesses during presentations. They know different theories and concepts of time and self management and are able to apply them to their own everyday life.

Learning and Teaching Methods
Different teaching methods as for example lectures, student´s presentations, team work and blended learning are applied. The courses take place in form of workshops. Learning methods: problem-solving tasks, exercises, group work, giving a presentation.

Module Exam
Description of exams and course work
The students pass the course by fulfilling the following requirements: Active participation in the workshop "Teamarbeit in Aktion" including working on a problem-solving task; participation in an online course on presentations (postings, upload of a short presentation video). Active participation in the workshop "Präsentieren" including giving a short presentation and giving and receiving of feedback. Active participation in the workshop "Time and self management" including participating in different exercises; team presentation on the semester project.
