| additional remarks | In this course, students gain basic knowledge of Italian as a foreign language, enabling them with minimal language skills to successfully manage basic everyday situations in both written and oral communication. Additionally, opportunities will be made available to effectively organize the process of learning Italian as a foreign language. Students learn/practice "communicative functions": to report in past tense (simple past) about their experiences; to talk about situations, people, and everyday activities in the past tense (simple past/present perfect); to provide descriptions of people (physical description and character traits); make comparisons between two things. Grammar: Passato prossimo regular and irregular verbs; Passato prossimo modal and reflexive verbs; Imperfetto; the use of Passato prossimo and Imperfetto; the conjunctions mentre and quando; possessive pronouns with relational terms (family, relatives); comparative and superlative. |
