additional remarks The following contents will be covered in the module: 1. Basic principles of power converters. 2. Principles of power semiconductor devices and switching losses. 3. Control oriented modeling of power converters. 4. Three-phase power converters (power circuits and modulation strategies). 5. Power factor correction (single-phase and three-phase). 6. High performance DC-DC converters. 7. Basics on the design of magnetic components for power converters. 8. Modern applications of high-power converter systems (renewable energy, electric mobility, and advanced power supplies).
