additional remarks This practical course is the basic component of the module <i> Advanced Working Methods</i> in Physical Chemistry. It begins with introductory, basic parts on the topics <i>Processing data</i>, <i>Assessing measurement errors</i> and <i>Measuring diffraction</i>, same for all, which you will work on in the first weeks. This is followed by laboratory work at different experimental stations where you carry out successively four experiments from a pool of twelve experiments, introducing you to various aspects of spectroscopic applications. The experiments cover the topics <i>Photoelectric Effect</i>, <i>Fluorescence Spectroscopy</i>, <i>Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy</i>, <i>UV-VIS Spectroscopy</i>, <i>Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) sSpectroscopy</i>, <i>Raman Scattering</i>, <i>Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Spectroscopy</i>, <i>Photocatalysis</i>.
