ergänzende Hinweise | Additional information about the course can be found here: https://www6.in.tum.de/teaching/ss-20/practical-course-building-a-modular-robot/ This laboratory is a hybrid of theoretically conveyed contents, which are applied practically and further developed in subsequent group work. Contents are put into practice on modular, self-programming robots. The laboratory is divided into three phases: I. Theory First, the background of collaborative, human-friendly robots is clarified and an overview is provided. II. Practical application This is followed by exercises on various use cases of collaborative robots in a simulation environment. This is followed by potential different topics: benchmarks in which conventional lightweight robots are compared with novel modular robots, different types of robot programming, the optimization of motion planning, or safe, physical human-robot collaboration. III. Development work After the basics have been discussed, various topics are further developed in small groups of 2-5 students. The topics include robot programming, software development, user interface design, CAD design and mechanics, end effector connection, control engineering and augmented reality. |
