| ergänzende Hinweise | The goal of this practical course is to create a flexible and configurable tool for system-wide customizable security in Android. To achieve this goal, the students will analyze and extend an existing solution from the literature to enforce complex, data-centric, system-wide policies on Android applications. The students will work in teams of 2-3 people. The objective for each student (team) is to mitigate or completely overcome one or some limitations of the tool. After some introduction to topic given by the lecturer, each team will be assigned a different topic to work on. Each team will then - download and familiarize with the tool; - conduct a literature survey of existing solutions for the assigned problem; - define a strategy to solve it, including an assignment of responsabilities among the team members and a 4-months plan to solve it - present the plan to the other teams (15 mins) - implement the solution, with regular rounds of synchronization with other teams in case of overlapping features - submit a final report of the work - present the results to the other teams (30 mins) NB: The course is in ENGLISH The official Website of the course is https://www22.in.tum.de/teaching/securing-android |
