additional remarks The lecture Luft- und Raumfahrtmedizin (aviation and space medicine) deals with the following topics: physics of the atmosphere, respiration and circulation, mechanical altitude effects, decompression sickness, ebulism, hypoxia, cabin pressure and decompression, acceleration, spatial disorientation and air sickness, thermo-physiological problems, optical and vestibular disorientation, medical, physiological and psychological problems in the 3rd dimension and at altitude, new procedures and regulations especially in the view of the European regulations (JAA).
