New workshop: "Prototype your PhD!" at UnternehmerTUM

Transform your research ideas into tangible designs

"Prototype your PhD" gives you the chance to experience exciting tools and methods, such as Rapid Prototyping, Design Thinking and Storytelling in the context of your own research and apply them to your daily research life. In this three-day workshop, you will build rapid prototypes out of your research to improve communication and understanding of the relevant research questions. In support of that, you will get to know new creativity methods like Design Thinking and learn to convince others with innovative communication tools and the help of experienced trainers.

* MakerSpace offers a place to implement ideas and innovations in the form of prototypes and small batch production. Various work areas are available, such as machine, metal and woodworking shops as well as textile and electrical processing facilities. In addition, 3D printers and laser and water jet cutters make it possible to fabricate new shapes and to process every type of material.
