Zur Zeit habilitiere ich mich am Lehrstuhl E12 für Experimentalphysik. Mein Interessengebiet ist das Studium exotischer Atomkerne, welche heutzutage z.B. an der GSI Darmstadt, am Kernforschungszentrum CERN oder am RIKEN Nishina Center (Tokio) untersucht werden können. Das Verständnis dieser kurzlebigen Atomkerne ist z.B. wichtig, um die Elemententstehung im Universum (Nukleosynthese) besser zu verstehen.
